More about this game

Revenge Chess: Chain Reaction is a turn-based strategy game where standard chess rules apply, but with a twist: captured pieces trigger a death rattle. When a piece is taken, it attacks the highest-value enemy in its range. If that attack captures another piece, the chain reaction continues up to 12 times. The goal is to checkmate or capture the opponent's king. You play as White against the Black opponent.

Tips
  • A captured piece will target the highest-value enemy in its range, so position your valuable pieces carefully.
  • Shield Knights (pawns) ascend into Ember Queens when they reach the opposite end of the board.
  • Use the Undo button if a chain reaction goes wrong and costs you a valuable piece.
Questions

How do death rattles work?

When a piece is captured, it immediately attacks the highest-value enemy piece within its normal movement range. This can trigger another death rattle if it captures a piece, chaining up to 12 times.

What are the piece values?

Shield Knight (pawn) is 1, Paladin (knight) and Sword Cleric (bishop) are 3, Stone Tower (rook) is 5, Ember Queen is 9, and Ember King is 99.

Can I undo a move?

Yes, you can tap the Undo button to revert to the previous board state, which is helpful if a chain reaction doesn't go your way.
