Paint a colorful picture, cover the entire canvas in a solid black layer, and scratch it off to reveal your hidden art underneath.
How to play
- Select one of the ten color swatches and adjust the brush slider between 5 and 50.
- Drag across the white canvas to paint your custom colorful design.
- Tap the Next button to completely cover your artwork with a black layer.
- Choose the Thin, Medium, or Wide tool to scratch away the black surface.
- Click the Create New Art button to clear the canvas and start over.

Colour Reveal is a relaxing two-step creative game where you design your own digital scratch art. In the first phase, you paint a vibrant picture using a palette of ten distinct colors and a brush that adjusts from size 5 up to 50. Once your design is complete, pressing the next button covers the entire canvas in a solid black layer. In the second phase, you scrape away the black coating to uncover your original drawing.
Tips
- Set your paint brush size to the maximum of 50 to quickly fill large background areas with bright colors before reducing it to 5 for details.
- Switch to the Wide scratch tool, which has a size of 60, to rapidly clear massive sections of the black coating and reveal the colors underneath.
- Use the Thin scratch tool, set at size 15, to carefully draw intricate patterns, write words, or etch fine lines into the dark layer.
Questions
How many colors are available to paint with?
You can choose from a palette of exactly ten different colors to create your base artwork. The default starting color is red, but you can switch at any time.
What are the different scratch tools?
Once your art is covered in black, you can choose between three specific scratch tools to reveal your work: Thin (size 15), Medium (size 35), and Wide (size 60).
Can I change the size of my paint brush?
Yes, during the painting phase, you can use the slider at the bottom of the screen to adjust your brush size in increments of 5, ranging from a minimum of 5 up to 50.
