More about this game
In this high-stakes puzzle, you must disarm an explosive device under strict time pressure. Every round begins with a 3.2-second intel window displaying a specific wire order and a four-digit keypad code. Once the operation starts, you have 40 seconds to cut the four wires in the exact memorized sequence and input the correct code. A single mistake or letting the timer run out results in immediate detonation and mission failure.
Tips
- Use the 3.2-second intel window entirely for memorization; do not try to tap anything until the phase officially changes to the defusal stage.
- The default wire sequence is always Blue, Red, Yellow, then Green. Memorize this exact order to speed up the first phase of the defusal.
- If you type a wrong number on the keypad, press the C button to clear your entry before submitting, as one mistake causes detonation.
Questions
What happens if I cut the wrong wire?
Cutting a wire out of the required sequence counts as a mistake. By default, the mistake limit is set to one, meaning a single wrong cut immediately detonates the bomb.
How much time do I have to defuse the bomb?
You have exactly 40.0 seconds on the countdown timer to complete both the wire cutting and the keypad entry. If the timer reaches zero, the device explodes and you fail.
Can I change my keypad entry if I make a typo?
Yes, if you tap an incorrect digit, you can press the C button on the keypad to clear your current input. Do this before pressing OK or entering four digits.
