More about this game
In Math Monster Escape, you run forward at a constant speed of 360 while two monsters chase you from behind. Closed doors block your path, each displaying an addition, subtraction, or multiplication problem. You must choose the correct answer from three options to open the door before you crash into it. Correct answers increase the gap between you and the monsters by 56 units. The run ends if you hit a closed door, pick the wrong answer, or if the monster gap drops to 104.
Tips
- Multiplication problems are harder, but they slow the monsters down to 42% speed and add 0.9 seconds to the slow duration.
- Answering correctly increases the gap between you and the monsters by 56 units, up to a maximum gap of 430.
- The door spawn interval starts at 3.35 seconds but decreases by up to 1.1 seconds as you solve more problems.
Questions
How do I slow down the monsters?
Solving any door slows the monsters for 3.2 seconds. Addition and subtraction slow them to 74% speed, while multiplication drops them to 42% speed for an extra 0.9 seconds.
What happens if I pick the wrong answer?
If you select the wrong answer, the run ends immediately. You must pick the correct answer to open the door and continue running, or you will crash.
How is the score calculated?
Your score is based on the distance you run and the number of doors you solve. Each solved door adds exactly 95 points to your total score.
