More about this game

In Rubber Rail Runner, your goal is to fling your character as far as you can across an endless series of rails. The core loop involves grabbing a yellow bar or blue pole, pulling back to aim, and releasing to launch yourself forward like a slingshot. As you travel further, you must carefully navigate between top-mounted luggage racks and bottom-placed suitcases. A run ends instantly if you crash into an obstacle, fall below the screen, fly too high above the camera, or get left behind.

Tips
  • You can grab a rail from up to 235 pixels away, so tap as soon as you get close to secure your next anchor point.
  • Watch your launch power; the stretch caps at 420 pixels, so pulling back further won't increase your speed or distance.
  • Keep your vertical height balanced. Flying higher than 360 pixels above the screen or falling 180 pixels below it instantly ends your run.
Questions

How is my score calculated?

Your score is based on your total horizontal distance traveled, calculated by dividing your x-coordinate by 22. Try to beat your best distance on each new run.

What obstacles do I need to avoid?

You must dodge wide luggage racks that spawn in the top zone and tall suitcases that appear in the bottom zone. Hitting either one triggers a game over.

Why did my game end when I didn't hit anything?

The screen constantly scrolls forward. If you launch too slowly and fall 260 pixels behind the camera, or fly too far off the top or bottom edges, you lose.
