Inkstone Garden Village is a tile-placement puzzle where you build a settlement on a 6x6 grid. You have exactly 20 placements to reach a beauty goal of 30 and a comfort goal of 32. Each tile type—House, Tea Stall, Garden, Path, and Pond—provides a different mix of beauty, comfort, and income. You must carefully choose which tiles to place in the limited space. The run ends when you meet both goals or run out of placements.
Tips
- Ponds give 5 beauty but 0 comfort, making them great for quickly raising your beauty stat.
- Houses provide 4 comfort and 1 beauty, which is essential for reaching the 32 comfort goal.
- You only have 20 placements, so avoid using low-stat tiles like Paths unless necessary.
Questions
What happens if I place a tile on an occupied square?
You cannot place a tile on a square that already has one. The game will flash red and tell you to choose an empty square.
Do I need to worry about income?
Income is tracked and provided by Houses and Tea Stalls, but it is not required to win the game. Only beauty and comfort matter for the goals.
Can I remove a tile after placing it?
No, once a tile is placed on the grid, it cannot be removed or changed. Plan your 20 placements carefully.
