How to play
- Select a tool from the bottom menu or press 1, 2, or 3 on your keyboard.
- Tap anywhere near the dummy to fire the gun from the right side of the lab.
- Swipe across the dummy's body parts to swing the bat and apply heavy blunt force.
- Hold your pointer on the dummy to burn it with the laser from the left side.
- Watch your impact score rise with every hit, and press the reset button to start over.

Buddy Lab Sandbox is a physics experiment where you test different tools on a ragdoll dummy. Your goal is to build up your impact score by hitting the dummy with a directional gun, a swiping bat, or a continuous laser beam. The dummy reacts to each hit, bouncing off the lab walls and floor while its body parts heat up and change color. There is no end to a run; you can keep juggling the dummy indefinitely or press the reset button to drop a fresh dummy into the center.
Tips
- The bat's power depends on your swipe speed. You must drag at least 36 pixels, and faster swipes hit harder, earning more impact points.
- The gun fires from the right side of the lab. Tap specific body parts like the head or feet to control exactly where the dummy flies.
- Hold the laser on the dummy to continuously build heat. The dummy's limbs will turn red, and the beam will push it around the room.
Questions
How do I get a higher impact score?
Hitting the dummy with faster bat swipes or continuous laser contact will increase your score faster. Each tool adds to the total based on the power and duration of the hit.
Can I change the tools?
Yes, you can switch between the gun, bat, and laser at any time using the buttons at the bottom of the screen or by pressing the number keys 1, 2, and 3.
What does the reset button do?
The reset button puts the dummy back in the center of the lab, resets your impact score to zero, and clears all the heat built up in the dummy's limbs.
