More about this game
In Deadly Dictation, your goal is to survive as long as possible by running away from a relentless pursuer. The core loop requires you to type the displayed words letter by letter. Correct inputs increase your speed and distance, while mistakes or hesitation allow the killer to close in. The difficulty ramps up as you complete words, introducing longer words and increasing the pressure. The run ends when the danger bar fills completely and the killer catches you.
Tips
- Focus on accuracy over raw speed; a wrong letter drops your speed and brings the killer 13% closer.
- Do not stop typing; if you pause for more than 1.15 seconds, the killer starts gaining ground faster.
- Use the DEL or CLR keys if you need to fix mistakes, but remember that clearing also brings the killer closer.
Questions
How do I run faster?
You gain speed with every correct letter you type. Completing an entire word gives you an extra burst of speed and distance.
What happens if I type the wrong letter?
Typing the wrong letter reduces your speed, flashes the screen red, and allows the killer to get significantly closer to you.
How does the game end?
The game ends when the killer catches you. This happens if you make too many mistakes or hesitate too long, filling the danger bar.
